Variety At Work is for people who would like to become volunteers who are able to give and get hands-on experience while exposing disadvantaged children to things they would not normally see or do.
These special volunteers will have the opportunity to share in the joy of putting a smile on a child’s face as well as helping shape a disadvantaged child’s future thru shared experiences, like visiting the zoo, museums, libraries, art exhibitions, and concerts, and answering the many questions posed by these children under your and & their caregivers watchful eye. Or just taking the children to an ice show, sporting event, amusement park, or throwing a holiday party and, of course, let’s not forget, going to the circus.
For those of you who would like to volunteer, but are tied down with too much work, a fund has been created to help with the expenses associated with outings as those described above. Your monetary assistance will be greatly appreciated.
